Royal Holloway Fashion Show 2008…

Oh, my friends, i cannot tell you how fabulously fashionable last weekend was for me. I modelled in the Fashion Show at Royal Holloway, titled ‘Let Us Entertain You’, and i can without a doubt scream to the very rooftops that it was by far one of the most amazing experiences i have ever had. The people, the atmosphere, the runway, the CLOTHES!!!!My word it was beyond fantastic. It was so liberating, so exciting to be up on stage dressed in some of the most crazy-ass, beautiful clothes i have ever seen. The event had no budget, therefore buyers were chosen for each section to ‘provide’ the clothing by getting companies to sponsor the event. This proved incredibly difficult at first as the shops were dubious (obviously) about lending out their clothes without proper insurance, but in the end the few who were involved ended up being amazing. My section, which was ‘modern day fashion’ was provided for by two fabulous shops on Carnaby Street, Chateau Roux and a vintage haven, Sam Greenberg. My outfit consisted of a black, white and pink vintage T-Shirt, a silver sequined boob tube (worn as a skirt!), knee high white socks, patent Mary-Janes, neon pink braces and matching vintage glasses, accessorized with giant silver earrings and rather a lot of bangles. I was the epitome of modern day ‘geek-chic’! The whole event was in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness, therefore all the proceeds from the sale of the tickets on each of the three nights went to a worthy cause. I just wanted to let you all know…it was fantastic!! I provide photographic evidence below…

 Love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
