I am terrible…i ruthlessly plugged the best fashion event i have ever been to and didn’t tell you guys about it! How very selfish of me…

Firstly let me say the organisers did not disappoint, there was indeed champagne, there were indeed delectable nibbles, beautiful people and jaw-dropping surroundings, but most importantly, there was absolutely no shortage of bargain designer goods…think a high-class market equipped with film-crew and photographers. It was heaven…absolute heaven.

I was naughty…my friends and i graced the event with the sole intention of enjoying the experience, for us it was all about the shmooze, getting in there with the fashion crowd, plugging our radio show, showing our fashion hungry faces…but goodness me did we fail.

We wanted everything.

You all know my love for anything VINTAGE, well picture this…boxes and boxes full of unwanted, fabulous scarves, necklaces, cardigans, gowns… for prices as low as ONE POUND!!!!Yes, we stood there, mouths open, sure we had come to the wrong place for a significant period of time before we delved into those boxes of loveliness and proceeded to pocket absolutely everything. One hand holding a flute of the lovely bubbly stuff, and the other overflowing with an abundance of bargains, let me tell you, i was happy, happy, happy. I even picked up my Summer Ball dress, a white grecian, Marilyn Monroe beauty for a mere twenty five English pounds. You can’t get any better than that.

When the next event comes up i will let you all know…it is so totally worth it…even if you just went and collected your goody bag equipped with discounts, make-up, eyelashes, body-creams, water and lip-glosses…but if the the next one was anything like the launch, you will definately not come away empty handed.

I was asked to take part in a short ’show-and-tell’ film for the jewellery company RocksFrocksandCocktails which is set to be aired on their website soon. I felt like a star! For about ten minutes anyway…
