Summer is but weeks away…

Oh my friends…the season where flesh is the key trend is soooooooooooooooo nearly here. I can feel it in the air. Looking out my window now i see sun, i see sunglasses, i see smiles. I see the signs of my favourite season, Summer. A little bit of warmth goes a long way, the whole world seems to relax just a tiny bit…and out come the shorts!

So along with this change in attitude and climate comes a wardrobe update. Yesss!!!!! Any excuse for a shopping trip…This blog is just to let you all know what i have noted as the key pieces to get NOW, to take you through the transition period, where there is still the chill of Spring, but the warm lunchtimes of Summer.

1. The jacket…Think lightweight, blazers are HUGE right now, especially the naval-esque styles, anything navy blue, stripy, gold buttoned or anchor-motif decorated is spot on. Denim is also on its way back, tight fighted, light wash, light weight jackets are everywhere in the shops, TopShop have a really cute fitted one, as does Asos.com (as always).

2. The basic white vest…This is my key wardrobe staple…a white vest fitted just right is so laid-back-sexy. Think white vest, highwaisted cotton skirt, thin belt, simple gold accessories and some staple over-sized sunnies. Very LA chic.

3. Sunglasses…Simple, sunglasses can transform any outfit. A pair of uniform black, oversized sunnies go with EVERYTHING. They just give an outfit that extra special something…

For now, these are the three things you should be rushing out to buy. They are the pieces that you do not need to wait for Summer days to wear, GET THEM NOW!!Why wait to look hot??

Until next time my fashionable friends…xxxxx
